EAT more ART ?

"Life is a great combination of magic, art and food!"

Kolkata has always been known for it's art and cultural backgrounds, be it poetry and writing or be it dancing, singing and painting! City of Joy is known as the epitome of exclusive arts! But the question is: Is cooking considered as an art as well??
We often hear people saying " Good food can make anyone's mood better! " or " Eating good makes you think more and innovate more! "
So when it comes to art, it's really important to think more and bring something new in front of the world for which directly or indirectly good food is responsible and good food comes from great cooking. So thus, this is a very important realisation that cooking is really a true form of art because as any other art mesmerizes our eyes and soul, great cooking mesmerizes heart and stomach!

This time we continued our foodwalk towards a combination of art and food...... We found our path towards a very new cafe with astonishing interiors, cozy environment with some great flavourful food...... ARTSY CAFE...

ADDRESS: 230/B, AGC Bose road, minto park, Kolkata

INTRODUCTION:
A newly opened cafe in Bhawanipur that will surely provide you some good time and place to spend with your loved ones. From paintings on sale to a wide range of book collection, from sculptures to set up of a typewriter, this place has it all. This cafe's aim is to put forward the essence of art in a modern way to the people of Kolkata! Along with this amazing surrounding the cafe also provides us some really delicious and mouth watering food menu that will surely make you feel good!

WHAT WE ORDERED:

  • HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH: The sandwich was made with sesame bun which contained spicy buttermilk fried chicken along with a spicy mayo. The sandwich was a total bliss. The chili mayo complemented the fried chicken so well that it gives an energy boost in the mouth!

          INR: 265
BLOGGER'S OPINION: A try is a must. I am sure it won't be a disappointment!

  • PAN ROASTED CHICKEN: it was a bowl full of roasted tomatoes, onions, basil and garlic along with pan roasted sliced chicken. The combination of pan roasted chicken along with multiple veggies was a good dish to fill your stomach and heart!

          INR: 250
BLOGGER'S OPINION: Not a very fancy presented dish but is full of flavours which will   bring in joy!

  • FLUFFY OMLETTE: Next we had a fluffy omlette with chicken, spring onion and cheese. This dish was indeed the best we had. It was filled with extra layers of cheese and the combo matched each other so well that it was like a cheese party going on in the mouth. The omlette along with chicken and cheese was a complete love. The perfect amount of cheese that complemented both the chicken and the omlette!

          INR: 190
BLOGGER'S OPINION: A complete plate of ultimate happiness for any cheese lover. But it will be surely loved by everyone because this tasted amazing!

  • POMEGRANATE ORANGE: With this total menu an iced tea was a need to blend the tastes well. We ordered a pomegranate orange flavoured iced tea. It was fresh and soothing and truly blended the flavours well

          INR: 120
BLOGGER'S OPINION:  It was a good flavour but other options are there as well!

  • AFFOGATO TRIFLE: A dessert made with homemade cookies, cream and ice cream which was served with a small cup of espresso coffee. The hot coffee was poured slowly into the creamy dessert and then the dessert was tasted!

           INR: 220
BLOGGER'S OPINION: something that I can have everyday, every moment without even getting bored!

Also we tried their CAPPUCCINO , it was good,  best part was a small piece of brownie was complimentary.

In all the day spend in ARTSY was good with a peaceful environment and wonderful food. It will be suggested that people should go to this place for spending a quality time as this place proves the relationship between art and food in a way very different from others and in a very mesmerising manner.. 😊

UNINHIBITED SUMMER !!

SUMMER... Summer for me is a state of mind, every summer has it's own story. It's summer ! Be free and happy and danceful and uninhibited and now ... Since childhood I have always felt that, Summertime is always the best of what might be. As they say, ' The tans will fade but the memories will last forever '. So as Summer is upon us, I have opted an outfit for myself that would keep me all cool and comfortable out in a sunny sunny day. I have teamed up  BROWN KNITTED TOP with long sleeves, with a CLASSIC DENIM MINI SKIRT.  🔸The BROWN KNITTED TOP  I am wearing, well nothing can be more comfortable than long sleeves in this season. Long sleeves not only gives us a funky look but also protects us from the tan and the heat. If I have a day planned out in the sun, I very much prefer long sleeves. Long sleeve tops are wadrobe essentials for summer. Long and volume sleeves give you a boxy and smart look. BRAND : FOREVER 21 MATERIAL : Cotton FOREV...

Peeping HOT!

Winter tales No matter, how many sweaters, we had pulled out from our trunk, winter dumped us again. However, few things are there which can never cheat on Bengalis! One such is our love for "গরম গরম কচুরি " Kachoris are basically a deep fried puffy and flaky bread loved by most of the Indians. This spicy North Indian dish is stuffed with anything ranging from, pulses ( dal ), peas, dried mango ( amchur ) or just spices! We Bengalis love to tear burst the peeping hot bread, fold it, scoop in some runny potatoes or sweetened daal and yummy!                talking of the places Bengalis have trusted for their kachoris since ages, our first mention would be this. featuring : Sharma Tea House This super crowded busy  snack station lies in the heart of Bhawanipore, pouring down every moment with more crowd, clustering with their plates of essentials ( KACHORI, POTATO CURRY, SAMOSAS). A few showed up with p...
