The Contemporary YELLOW !!

Hey fashionistas, a fan of YELLOW ? Well I am. I think the colour YELLOW radiates positive vibes. YELLOW equals automatic optimism.

Colours are the smiles of nature and YELLOW is as bright as Sunshine !!!

How can you be in a bad mood if you are wearing YELLOW !!!

This time I have opted an outfit that reflects our contemporary India, culture with touch of modernity. I have teamed up a YELLOW STRIPED A-LINE KURTA with a BLACK & WHITE CHECKED CULOTTE.

🔸Let's talk about the YELLOW STRIPED A-LINE KURTA . A-line kurtas are currently trending. A-line generally means fitted from the shoulders to the hips and then widening to the hem, but it is also sometimes used to mean widening from the shoulders to hem, ignoring the waist and the hips. It gives a streamlined and quite a slim look. The best part about the kurta I am wearing are the Butterfly Ruffle Sleeves . It makes your posture look thin.

BRAND : LIBAS from MYNTRA
MATERIAL : COTTON

🔸Next I chose a BLACK & WHITE CHECKED REGULAR FITTED CULOTTES. Basically culottes are short trousers that looks like skirt. They are very comfortable for summer. Culottes give you a contemporary and aesthetic look. You can easily team them up with long kurtas, and shirts too which would give you a classy corporate look. Culottes are perfect for your Summer Sunday Brunch or even cultural parties.

BRAND : DRESSBERRY
MATERIAL : POLYESTER

I searched my closet inside out to bring out these pretty pair of coloured wedges. I had a hard time thinking what would work best with this contemporary look and finally found these babies. I bought them a few years back from FLIPCART.

To accessorize with,

▪️I chose a BLUE EMERALD RING that belongs to my Mother, as Prussian blue complements yellow.

▪️A silver golden watch from DRESSBERRY

▪️And finally my AVIATORS from RAY BAN without which the shoot really would not had been possible.

Hope you guys liked our effort and let us know about your opinions.

HAPPY SUNDAY !!!!!!

UNINHIBITED SUMMER !!

SUMMER... Summer for me is a state of mind, every summer has it's own story. It's summer ! Be free and happy and danceful and uninhibited and now ... Since childhood I have always felt that, Summertime is always the best of what might be. As they say, ' The tans will fade but the memories will last forever '. So as Summer is upon us, I have opted an outfit for myself that would keep me all cool and comfortable out in a sunny sunny day. I have teamed up  BROWN KNITTED TOP with long sleeves, with a CLASSIC DENIM MINI SKIRT.  🔸The BROWN KNITTED TOP  I am wearing, well nothing can be more comfortable than long sleeves in this season. Long sleeves not only gives us a funky look but also protects us from the tan and the heat. If I have a day planned out in the sun, I very much prefer long sleeves. Long sleeve tops are wadrobe essentials for summer. Long and volume sleeves give you a boxy and smart look. BRAND : FOREVER 21 MATERIAL : Cotton FOREV...

Peeping HOT!

Winter tales No matter, how many sweaters, we had pulled out from our trunk, winter dumped us again. However, few things are there which can never cheat on Bengalis! One such is our love for "গরম গরম কচুরি " Kachoris are basically a deep fried puffy and flaky bread loved by most of the Indians. This spicy North Indian dish is stuffed with anything ranging from, pulses ( dal ), peas, dried mango ( amchur ) or just spices! We Bengalis love to tear burst the peeping hot bread, fold it, scoop in some runny potatoes or sweetened daal and yummy!                talking of the places Bengalis have trusted for their kachoris since ages, our first mention would be this. featuring : Sharma Tea House This super crowded busy  snack station lies in the heart of Bhawanipore, pouring down every moment with more crowd, clustering with their plates of essentials ( KACHORI, POTATO CURRY, SAMOSAS). A few showed up with p...
